What To Expect

Kiltwalk is built around charity fundraising rather than racing. The three distances make it accessible to different ages and fitness levels, while pit stops, volunteers, entertainment, and a finishers’ meal form part of the day.

The 21-mile Mighty Stride starts in Holyrood Park, the 11-mile Big Stroll starts at Fisherrow Links in Musselburgh, and the 4.5-mile Wee Wander starts at Victoria Park. All routes finish at Murrayfield.

Tickets & Entry

Registration is open through the official Edinburgh Kiltwalk page. The organiser says registration can close once capacity is reached, so booking ahead is sensible.

Location

The finish is at Murrayfield Stadium in west Edinburgh. Start points depend on the distance you choose.

Getting There

Murrayfield has its own tram stop and is served by several bus routes. Because the event uses different start points, check your route map and transport plan before travelling.

Our Tips

  • Choose your distance before registering, as age limits differ by route.
  • Allow extra time for transport to the correct start point.
  • Check the final route information before event day because mileages and routes can change.
