15 Coburg Street, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 6ET
Coburg House Open Studios gives visitors access to more than 50 working artist and maker spaces in Leith from 31 July to 2 August 2026. The four-floor former granary opens its studio doors for a free weekend of art, design, demonstrations, shopping, and live music.
The event provides a rare chance to look inside the building’s working studios, speak directly with artists, and buy work where it was made.

Live music is also planned across the weekend. William Ancell performs jazz, blues, bossa nova, and country on Friday from 6pm to 9pm, while Jeremy Thorp and Nick Gent play swing jazz on Sunday from 1pm to 4pm.
Entry and Practical Information
Entry is free and advance tickets are not normally required. Opening sessions can differ by day, so use the official Open Studios page to confirm the full timetable before travelling.
Location and Getting There
The event is inside Coburg House Art Studios at 15 Coburg Street in Leith. The Shore tram stop is around eight minutes away on foot, and buses serve Commercial Street, Great Junction Street, and Henderson Street.
Our Tips
- Pick up or download the floor map before exploring the studios.
- Allow enough time for all four floors rather than treating it as a quick gallery visit.
- Ask about access before travelling if stairs may be difficult, as the building retains its industrial layout.
