Champions of the Wild runs at Dynamic Earth from 26 June to 30 August 2026. The family trail looks at the strength, speed and skills of animals through practical challenges and short science activities.
The trail costs £4.50 in addition to Dynamic Earth gallery admission. It is available while stocks last, and younger children may need help from an adult.

What To Expect
Visitors collect a trail map and move through the galleries to find the animal kingdom’s sporting standouts. The activities test knowledge and include hands-on challenges, with a medal available after completing the route.
Tickets & Entry
The trail must be added to a Dynamic Earth admission ticket. Existing annual pass and membership holders can add it to a return visit. Check the official Champions of the Wild page before travelling.

Getting There
Dynamic Earth is beside the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood. Waverley Station and the city centre are within walking distance, with bus stops available around Holyrood Road and the Canongate.
