What To Expect
Fiji v Scotland should be one of the more unusual rugby events in Edinburgh this summer.
Although it’s listed as Fiji v Scotland, the game is being played at Scottish Gas Murrayfield. Fiji are playing their July Nations Championship “home” games in the UK, with this fixture taking place in Edinburgh after matches against Wales and England.
That gives Scotland fans a proper Murrayfield rugby day in the middle of July, rather than the usual autumn or Six Nations window.
A Nations Championship Match in Edinburgh
The Nations Championship is a new international rugby competition linking northern and southern hemisphere teams across July and November fixtures.
For Scotland, the Fiji match sits in the July series, before further Murrayfield fixtures later in 2026 against New Zealand, Australia and Japan.
There’s recent edge to this one too. Scotland beat Fiji 57-17 at Murrayfield in 2024, but Fiji won 29-14 when the sides met in Suva in 2025.
Tickets & Entry
Tickets for Fiji v Scotland are available through Ticketmaster, with buyers directed to the Scottish Rugby Online Ticket Centre.
Scottish Rugby says individual match tickets are on sale, along with multi-match packages covering Scotland’s wider Nations Championship fixtures at Murrayfield.

As always with major Murrayfield events, book early if you want a better choice of seats together.
Location
Scottish Gas Murrayfield sits west of Edinburgh city centre, near Roseburn.
It’s one of the easiest major venues in the city to reach by public transport, especially by tram. The stadium is also walkable from Haymarket, though allow extra time on matchday as the area gets busy before kick-off.
Getting There
The nearest tram stop is Murrayfield Stadium, which is directly beside the venue.
Haymarket Station is the nearest major rail station, with onward tram, bus, taxi and walking options. Matchday traffic can be slow around Roseburn and Corstorphine Road, so public transport is usually the better call.
Our Tips
- Arrive early if you want time for security checks, food, drinks and finding your seat.
- Use the tram where possible, especially if you’re coming from the city centre, Haymarket or Edinburgh Airport.
- Check Scottish Rugby’s matchday information closer to the date for bag rules, gate times and travel updates.
- Bring layers. July in Edinburgh still has its moments.
