Monkey Barrel Comedy is an independent stand-up venue on Blair Street in Edinburgh’s Old Town, close to the Royal Mile and Cowgate.

The club hosts comedy throughout the year, with regular stand-up nights, touring comedians, work-in-progress shows, live podcast recordings, and new-material events. During the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Monkey Barrel becomes one of the city’s busiest comedy venues, with multiple performance rooms operating across the programme.
