Queen's Hall Edinburgh Events
85-89 Clerk Street, Newington, Edinburgh EH8 9JG
Alexis Ffrench brings his live show to The Queen’s Hall on Wednesday 21 April 2027. The pianist and composer has built a wide audience by connecting classical music with a broader, contemporary sensibility, and this Edinburgh date should attract both regular concertgoers and newer listeners.
The show is presented as an exploration of the way music can lift mood, create calm, and connect classical ideas with influences from well beyond the traditional concert hall.

What To Expect
Ffrench has become one of the better-known crossover names in contemporary piano music, but the appeal goes beyond labels. If you like melodic, emotionally direct live performance, his concerts tend to offer exactly that without feeling lightweight.
The Queen’s Hall lists an 8pm performance start. The venue page also notes doors from 7pm, so there is time to settle in before the music starts.
Tickets and Getting There
The Queen’s Hall is on Clerk Street in the Southside and is easy to reach from most parts of central Edinburgh. Tickets are available through the official event page.
