The Fountain

The Fountain is a neighbourhood pub and restaurant at 131 Dundee Street, opposite the Fountain Park area. It works as a local for Fountainbridge and Polwarth, but is also handy before the cinema, bowling, or other activities nearby.

Food is served throughout the day, with pub favourites, sharing plates, and Sunday options alongside beer, wine and cocktails. Live sport is shown, the Sunday pub quiz is a weekly fixture, and open-mic nights bring local performers into the bar.

Families are welcome with food within the venue’s licensing hours, and dogs are allowed. Walk-ins are common, although booking is sensible for larger groups, weekend meals, and popular sporting fixtures.
