What To Expect
Truckfest Scotland is built around large trucks, modified vehicles, American rigs, emergency vehicles and stunt displays. The official Truckfest page also mentions monster truck rides, which are arranged on the day.
Expect a full outdoor event rather than a quick indoor exhibition. The Royal Highland Centre page lists car-crushing monster truck action, motorcycle stunt shows, special guests, industry displays and family entertainment.
Food and drink will be available on site. As with most Ingliston events, it is worth checking the official event page close to the date for final entry gates, parking and any bag rules.
Tickets & Entry
Tickets are listed through the official Truckfest Scotland page and the Royal Highland Centre event page. The Royal Highland Centre What’s On page lists prices from £18.
Ticket types can vary, especially if camping, day entry, or ride extras are offered separately, so check the ticket page before booking.
Location
The event takes place at the Royal Highland Showgrounds at Ingliston, close to Edinburgh Airport and the western edge of the city.
The site is large, so check your arrival gate and parking information before setting off.
Getting There
Traffic Scotland expects heavier traffic around routes including the A720, M8, and M90 for Truckfest weekend. If driving, leave extra time for the Ingliston approach and parking queues.
Edinburgh Trams serve Ingliston Park & Ride and Edinburgh Airport. Both may be useful depending on the event entrance arrangements.
Our Tips
- Arrive earlier in the day if you want to see the main outdoor displays.
- Check the official page for ride-booking details, as some extras may be arranged on-site.
- Use public transport if you want to avoid traffic at Ingliston.
- Dress for an outdoor event, even if the forecast looks dry.
