Underworld have been announced as the headline act for Edinburgh’s Hogmanay in the Gardens 2026/27, bringing the dance duo to West Princes Street Gardens on Thursday 31 December 2026.

The show is part of the city’s New Year celebrations, with Underworld due to play their first Hogmanay in the Gardens headline slot as Edinburgh welcomes in 2027. STV reports that tickets are priced from £79, including booking fees and a £1 charity donation.

Underworld Confirmed For Hogmanay In The Gardens

Underworld, best known to many for Born Slippy (Nuxx) and its link with Trainspotting, will perform beneath Edinburgh Castle as part of the official Hogmanay programme. The duo, Rick Smith and Karl Hyde, have been active since the late 1980s and remain one of the UK’s best-known electronic acts.
