PIRATE JAKE AND PRINCESS ELSA EXTEND THEIR STAY AT DEEP SEA WORLD

Pirate Jake and Princess Elsa are extending their stay at Deep Sea World, Scotland’s national aquarium, by an extra weekend due to popular demand.

The couple were originally due to weigh anchor this weekend but visitors’ reaction has been so positive they have both agreed to make an extra appearance on Saturday, February 21st and Sunday, February 22nd.

The pair are part of a special Pirates and Princesses event taking place over the half term holidays.

Deep Sea World’s Kerry Myers said: “We have been absolutely overwhelmed at how popular Jake and, in particular, Elsa have been with younger visitors.

“There has been such positive feedback that we have decided to ask them back for an extra weekend and, luckily, they have both agreed.

“Elsa has proved especially popular with all the little princesses we’ve had to visit. I think part of her appeal has been that she’s not exactly your average princess as she has got involved in everything from the seal feeds to tug of war competitions with Jake the pirate and Charlie the Clownfish!” she added.

As well as Elsa and Jake visitors to Deep Sea World can to enjoy pirate storytelling, face-painting, photo sessions, crab racing and thrilling stories of fair princesses and the deadly pirates.

Any young scallywag dressed up as a fearsome pirate or any dainty young lady dressed up as a princess will get in for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult*.
