Explorathon is how Scotland celebrates European Researchers’ Night, a European Commission initiative which gives people across the continent the chance to connect with amazing cutting edge research and discoveries that are happening right now.
At Dynamic Earth we will be celebrating by diving to ocean depths with Atlantic Adventures with ATLAS. This amazing research project involves scientists from across the EU, Canada, and the USA, all working together to investigate the deep Atlantic Ocean.
Get hands on with science with our fun family drop-in activities. Pilot a virtual underwater robot and discover the incredible creatures living at the bottom of the ocean. Get creative with our amazing augmented reality crafts and a Lego challenge.
Join the ATLAS crew for an interactive family show. Explore incredible coral reefs around Scotland and meet the ATLAS scientists who are uncovering this wonderful watery world.
Shows will run at 12.15, 13.15, and 14.15. Drop-in activities available 10.00-16.00.
