From Detroit to the Queen’s Hall
Electric Six found an audience far beyond Detroit with the early-2000s singles Danger! High Voltage and Gay Bar. They pair hard-edged guitar riffs with dance beats, deliberately exaggerated lyrics and a frontman who rarely appears to be taking himself entirely seriously.
The group have released far more music than their best-known singles suggest. The Edinburgh date draws on their long-running catalogue, including material from Fire, but there is no published song-by-song setlist. If you are going for one particular track, it is best to treat any online setlist as a guide rather than a promise.
Booking and entry
Tickets were advertised at £29.50 including the venue’s stated booking fee, with a £2 transaction fee; confirm the final basket price before paying. The show is for over-14s, and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult over 18.
The Queen’s Hall is a converted church at 85–89 Clerk Street, just south of the Old Town. Public transport is a practical option, particularly after a Saturday gig. Check the venue’s access guidance if you need step-free arrangements or reserved seating.
