Cold Town House

Cold Town House fills three floors at the western end of the Grassmarket. The building contains a ground-floor taproom, a pizza-and-brewery level, and a roof terrace overlooking Edinburgh Castle, giving each part of the venue a distinct feel.

Cold Town Beer is brewed on site and served from the tanks, while the food menu centres on stone-baked pizza, bar snacks and larger dishes. The venue also shows live sport and hosts regular parties, seasonal events, and group bookings.

Children are welcome with a responsible adult within the venue’s stated hours. Well-behaved dogs are allowed in the Brewhouse and rooftop areas, and advance booking is sensible if the terrace is your main reason for visiting.
