Through the keyhole at Dundas Castle

Dundas Castle hi res-min

Five star exclusive use venue Dundas Castle can now offer prospective clients a tour from the comfort of their own home, with a captivating 3D virtual experience.

Those planning events and weddings can feel as though they are walking through the luxurious reception rooms, dining spaces and 17 unique bedrooms through immersive panoramic 360 degree images.

Using the latest technology, the 3D virtual tour includes the breathtaking views from the tower of the 16th century Auld Keep, across the Firth of Forth and the three bridges.  Visitors can also take a peek inside the secluded Boathouse retreat on the shores of Dundas Castle’s private loch.

Louise Andrew, General Manager at Dundas Castle says: “This tour of Dundas Castle is an exciting new tool for us.  While virtually roaming through the Castle is fun, it is a valuable for those planning an event or wedding, as visitors can get a real feel of our historic venue.  Whether you are looking to plan an event which is already booked, or starting to plan your trip to Scotland and want to see the bedrooms you will be staying in, you can ‘fly in and take a tour’ without leaving your sofa.”

Dundas Castle offers all the luxury and service standards of a five star venue. As it is exclusive use, the Castle can be booked in its entirety for a wide variety of events – weddings, conferences, business meetings, incentive travel group visits, golfing holidays, private dinner parties, launch parties and receptions.

Dundas Castle is perfectly situated, just 10 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and only 20 minutes from Edinburgh City Centre. While the Castle is easily accessible to Scotland’s capital, it is secluded within 500 acres of its private estate, so it is ideal for those looking to get away from it all, while also offering the opportunity to use the venue as a base to explore the local area.
