Summer is Here as The Hub Terrace is Open!

The Hub Outdoor Terrace 2-min

Edinburgh’s stunning landmark venue, The Hub, has opened its outdoor terrace for the busy summer season.

Right at the heart of the city’s famous Royal Mile, The Hub is home to the Edinburgh International Festival and with its popular café and superb events spaces, it is the place to be during the festival season.  Only a stone’s throw from Edinburgh Castle and serving up drinks and food, the Terrace is the best place to watch the world go by ahead of a show, the Tattoo or just meeting up with friends.

With its bright yellow “jumberellas” perfect for keeping off the sun, or possibly rain, the Terrace offers fizz, gin & tonics, wine or even a wee dram.  And the food options from a tailored Cafe Hub menu include: a Scottish artisan scotch egg with salad and coleslaw; sharing platters, which are ideal for two with a glass of wine; our fabulous Scottish beef burgers; or just a slice of tasty homemade brownie or gluten free chocolate cake.

The Hub Terrace is open from 11 am (depending on the weather!) and will have extended opening hours through August. Soft drinks, Scottish beers and Edinburgh Gin are also available and guests can enjoy whiskies, wines and beers from the tailored Cafe Hub menu.  The Café Hub menu has good options for vegan, gluten free and dairy free as well as having menus translated into German, Spanish and Mandarin.
