Rosie H Sullivan Set to Delight Crowds this November

The Scottish singer-songwriter and London artist Vraell are taking on an mini UK tour

Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter Rosie H Sullivan is gearing up to captivate audiences at the city’s The Voodoo Rooms on Sunday 5 November, as a highlight of a highly anticipated winter tour.

As an artist on the rise, Rosie will treat audiences to an enchanting showcase of her latest EP In My Nature, set for release on Friday 10 November.

The performance will be a joint headline show with Vraell – the musical moniker of classically trained London-based musician Alessio Scozzaro. Rosie and Vraell teamed up on a song called Lull earlier this year which became a viral success on TikTok and Instagram. The track is still garnering millions of views and being used by online content creators around the world.

Rosie is steadily making a name for herself in the vibrant Scottish music scene, celebrated for her introspective lyrics, velvety soothing vocals, and ethereal musical style.

Her music is a testament to her deep connection with nature, storytelling and self-discovery, delivering a profound and soul-stirring experience for her growing fanbase. Over the past year, Rosie has cultivated a dedicated following, blending influences from crossover folk artists such as Billie Marten, Laura Marlingand Joni Mitchell into her own unique sound.

Her most recent singles Fragments and Chapters, taken from her upcoming EP, have all been met with widespread acclaim across the UK. The lyrics and enchanting melodies have connected deeply with listeners, with Chapters being chosen as Single of the Week on the BBC Radio Scotland Afternoon Show.

Rosie’s upcoming performance at The Voodoo Rooms promises to be a captivating exploration of her evolving artistry, offering a chance for fans to immerse themselves in her latest work.

Her co-headliner Vraell has rapidly built up an online audience with his ethereal sound, with his music being used by BBC Earth. Taking inspiration from composers including Gustsavo Santaolalla and contemporary acts like Sufjan Stevens, Scozzaro’s songwriting explores personal themes, transforming them into relatable and emotive pieces. Vraell’s new EP Walls is set for release in November 2023.

Rosie H Sullivan said: “I am so excited to be going on this tour and grateful to have the chance to travel across the UK with my music. I can’t wait to share my latest work with the lovely people of Edinburgh. Touring and playing live always creates an opportunity to connect with audiences on a deeper level, and I can’t wait to make those special memories together, sharing stories and emotions through music. It’s also so exciting to be headlining alongside Vraell whose work I’ve always admired online, it will be wonderful to share this live experience together.”

Rosie’s breakthrough came in 2021 with her debut single, So It Is, which she captured in just one take in her parent’s garden. Released in demo form, the single is close to reaching 600,000 streams on Spotify.

Released at the start of this year, her debut EP 123° East solidified Rosie’s presence in the Scottish music scene as a promising young artist to watch.
