Edinburgh Tech Firm Pufferfish Opens on HQ on Tuesday for Hands-On Display Open Day
Edinburgh technology company Pufferfish is opening the doors of its Causewayside headquarters on Tuesday 22 September 2026, with hands-on demonstrations of its interactive display technology running from 10am.
The Edinburgh-based company creates spherical and hemispherical displays used in museums, education, events, exhibitions and other visual installations around the world. Its headquarters are at 252 Causewayside, Edinburgh EH9 1UU.
What Can You See at the Pufferfish Open Day?
Visitors will be able to try two of Pufferfish’s display systems, PufferTouch and PufferHemi, rather than simply watching a sales demonstration.
PufferTouch is designed around direct interaction with content on a spherical display, while PufferHemi uses a touch-responsive hemispherical screen. The company will also demonstrate the software, content and technical work that sits behind its displays.
Pufferfish CEO Stephen Patterson said the aim is to give people the opportunity to experience the technology close up and speak directly with the programmers, engineers and designers behind it.

Pufferfish has also arranged four online demonstrations at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm for people who cannot make it to the Edinburgh headquarters.
