A signature blend of Edinburgh Gin has been created which is available only at the exclusive Colonnades at The Signet Library.
Served with Edinburgh’s most glamorous afternoon tea, the specially created ‘Signet Gin’ has been vapour infused with Ginger Chai and Rooibos Tea, along with the delicious Edinburgh Gin blend of juniper, milk thistle, coriander and orange zest.
Colonnades at Edinburgh’s historic Signet Library opened in June following a major refurbishment including bespoke silverware, intricate gold leaf, unique lighting and a handwoven carpet. Initial visitors were offered a range of gins to test, assisting the team in choosing a gin that represents the Colonnades and its luxurious offering of the finest in food and drink.
A selection of signature cocktails and mixers has been launched in honour of the new gin blend, and the skilled waiting staff from Heritage Portfolio can recommend the accompaniments and garnishes that bring out the flavour of the Signet Gin.
Use of the new drink has also been extended into the superb food offering, including an infused salmon available within the light lunches and featuring within the sumptuous afternoon tea menu.

Signet Gin is available now at Colonnades, and will also be offered to all events taking place at the Signet Library.
Colonnades is already making a name for itself as the finest afternoon tea in Edinburgh, and is in the top three for restaurants in the Capital on Trip Advisor. Due to popular demand, it is now open on Sundays, with bookings available 9am – 5pm, Sunday to Friday (closed Saturdays).
