Edinburgh’s wizard speakeasy, The Cauldron, has introduced a magnificent afternoon tea experience for little wizards.
The brand new offering, designed for children aged 8 and upwards, offers the perfect opportunity for young magicians to don their robes and wield their wands to conjure a non-perilous potion using a little bit of magic from The Cauldron’s wall of Magical Creatures.
After spell-casting, little wizards will be treated to a fantastical hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and will feast on sandwiches, cakes, scones and sweets. Young magicians will also have the opportunity to befriend the venue’s owl.
The experience, which lasts for 1 hour and 15 minutes, will take place at 12.30 on Friday 20 December.
Matthew Cortland, co-founder of The Cauldron, said: “Christmas is about letting children experience magic and excitement. Young magicians can get into the festive spirit at The Cauldron when they dress in wizard robes and wield a working magic wand.
“This is where the magic happens this festive season, and little wizards will be totally blown away when stepping into our festive potion-making dungeon. With a guest appearance from our special owl, it’s sure to be a hoot!”
Tickets cost £20 per child plus a booking fee and can be purchased on Eventbrite by following this link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/little-wizards-afternoon-tea-tickets-85124416421?fbclid=IwAR1mXcwcH82k5L1ghQZBvD5_jNPTTi-EbRQiDJT0zf9GnuKg2cYuRGL6np4
