Britain’S most lovable fox Basil Brush will open the Marie Curie Hospice, Edinburgh, Summer Fete on Saturday 27 July 2019.

Basil will officially open the Fete at 2pm, taking time out from rehearsals ahead of his Edinburgh Festival Fringe shows. Taking place in the grounds of the Marie Curie hospice at 45 Frogston Road West, entry is £1 for adults and free for children.

Activities include a dog competition, meet the BobCat Alpacas, craft stalls and home baking.

Last year’s Fete raised £10,000 to help provide specialist care and support for people living with a terminal illness and their loved ones.
