R’n’J: The Untold Story of Shakespeare’s Roz and Jules

  • RJ-Carmina

Juliet’s double pregnant, Rosaline decides she does indeed want Romeo, but Romeo’s definitely dead.

Join Roz and Jules on an epic tragicomedy adventure to clear their names, heal family strife and safely deliver those babies!

Edinburgh Fringe first-timer Stolen Cactus’ production of Carmina Bernhardt’s (London Library Emerging Writer 2019) debut full-length work R’n’J:

The Untold Story of Shakespeare’s Roz and Jules, a fresh take ‘after-story’ of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet which imagines that Juliet does not kill herself after Romeo’s death and instead shifts the perspective to two female protagonists: Roz and Jules.

This World Premiere, ensemble-driven, and multi-media integrated production is written in contemporary language using Shakespearean blank verse.
