The walk begins at the bottom of Advocate’s Close on Cockburn Street, then moves through closes around the Royal Mile before returning to the starting point.

What To Expect

The work by Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller layers filmed scenes and recorded sound over the streets in front of you. The route combines fiction, city history and the physical experience of walking through the closes after dark.
