What To Expect

Alongside the live performances, there will be face painting, immersive story sessions, arts and crafts, workshops, kids yoga, messy play, a music and singing tent, funfair attractions and roaming entertainers.

The site will also include a makers market with local artists and small creative businesses, plus food and drink options across the day.

Tickets & Entry

Tickets are listed through the official Royal Highland Centre page and the linked Ticketmaster page.

Summer Sessions says there is no minimum age to attend. Anyone aged 15 or under must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over, with one adult per two young attendees.

Location

The festival takes place outdoors at the Royal Highland Centre at Ingliston, close to Edinburgh Airport and the western edge of the city.

Getting There

Edinburgh Trams serve Ingliston Park & Ride and Edinburgh Airport, both of which can be useful for Royal Highland Centre events. Summer Sessions also offers coach travel options from selected cities.

If you are driving, leave extra time for the approach to Ingliston and check parking guidance before setting off.
