The 2026 line-up includes live music across the weekend, with Symphonic Ibiza on Friday 7 August, Gareth Gates on Saturday 8 August, and Scouting For Girls on Sunday 9 August.
There’s also a food programme featuring chef demos, bake theatre sessions, drinks tastings, fire cooking, kids’ cookery, and street food.
Confirmed names on the chef side include Harry Maguire, MasterChef Champion 2025; Sophie Sugrue, MasterChef Finalist 2025; Jeni Iannetta from Bad Girl Bakery; Barry Bryson of Barry Fish; and TV wine expert Joe Wadsack.
The event also has a few extras beyond food stalls, including a kids’ area, artisan shopping, a dog zone, bars, a wellness village and a silent disco-style Kitchen Disco.
Tickets & Entry
Tickets are available through the official Foodies Festival website and its ticketing partner.
The official page lists adult tickets from £27, young adult tickets from £8, and family tickets from £59. Weekend tickets are also available, giving entry across all three days.
It’s worth checking the ticket page before booking, as prices can vary by day, ticket type, sale period and booking fees.
You can find ticket details on the official Foodies Festival Edinburgh page.
Location
Foodies Festival Edinburgh takes place at Inverleith Park, one of the city’s best-known outdoor event spaces.
It sits beside the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and is close to Stockbridge, Canonmills and Inverleith. That makes it handy for making a day of it, especially if you want food nearby before or after the event.
The park setting also means you should plan for normal Edinburgh summer weather. Sunshine, wind and rain can all turn up in the same afternoon.
Getting There
Inverleith Park is easiest to reach by bus, on foot, or by bike.
From the city centre, it’s a manageable walk from areas like Stockbridge, Canonmills and the New Town. If you’re coming from further out, check Lothian Buses routes towards Inverleith, Stockbridge or the Botanics before travelling.
Parking around Inverleith and Stockbridge can be limited on busy event days, so public transport is usually the better call.
Our Tips
- Pick your day around the music line-up. Symphonic Ibiza, Gareth Gates and Scouting For Girls are playing on different days.
- Check the timetable before you go. Chef demos, drinks sessions and kids’ cookery slots run at set times.
- Bring layers. Inverleith Park is open and exposed in places, even in August.
- Book ahead if you’re going as a family. Family tickets are listed, but prices and availability can change.
