Edinburgh’s Christmas returns from 14 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, transforming Princes Street Gardens and George Street into a festive wonderland.
Expect around 70 market stalls, local food and drink, Christmas markets, Santa’s Stories, and classic rides including the Big Wheel, and Star Flyer.
Over on George Street, the covered ice rink and Polar Ice Bar bring winter magic, whatever the weather. Families can meet Santa, post letters, and explore the illuminated tree maze at St Andrew Square.
Entry is free, though rides and skating are ticketed.
Tip: Best visited midweek mornings for smaller crowds.
