Two teenagers begin by faking Bigfoot sightings for fun. Then a neighbour’s dog is found torn apart, and their joke becomes fuel for a much bigger panic.

What To Expect
The story takes place in a flood-ravaged 1990s Appalachian community where superstition is already close to the surface.
As rumours spread, the teenagers have to decide whether the danger is something they invented, something the town wants to believe, or something genuinely threatening.
Xhloe Rice and Natasha Roland write, perform, and co-direct the two-hander. The production blends choreography, clowning, and a nine-foot Bigfoot puppet, using the creature as part of a wider argument about misdirection and how communities manufacture certainty from incomplete evidence. The pair won Fringe First awards in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
