Arthur’s Secrets is a series of free guided walks in Holyrood Park, running on selected dates until 30 March 2027. The walks explain how people have used the landscape around Arthur’s Seat over thousands of years, alongside the park’s wildlife and geology.
Walk leaders trace a history that reaches back approximately 7,000 years. This is more than a general sightseeing climb: the emphasis is on the stories in the landscape, from ancient activity to the ways Edinburgh residents have lived and worked around the hill.
