Edinburgh New Town Cookery School wins Cookery School of the Year

Edinburgh New Town Cookery School won Cookery School of the Year at the Food Awards Scotland in Glasgow last night.

Offering professional and leisure courses and frequently seeing its graduates enter some of the UK’s top kitchens, ENTCS has rightly been confirmed as Scotland’s Cookery School of the Year.

Principal, Fiona Burrell comments: “The team at ENTCS works hard to train our students for a career in the food industry.  This recognition is terrific news and the icing on the cake of an already successful year.”

ENTCS was founded by Fiona Burrell, formerly Principal of Leiths School of Food and Wine. She began her career in Edinburgh and has been teaching professional cookery courses for thirty years.

Fiona is ‘hands-on’ and is ably supported by a highly-motivated team. With enormous experience, she has a very clear vision of what the students need to learn and the best way to teach it.
