Tea Green Winter Market returns to the Scottish National Portrait Gallery on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November 2026. Free to enter and open from 10am to 5pm each day, it brings Scottish independent makers into one of Edinburgh’s best-known public buildings.
Stalls feature handmade and small-batch goods, from textiles and ceramics to jewellery, illustration, and other design work. The market is not simply a gallery shop extension: it is an event run by Tea Green, which has been organising opportunities for independent creative businesses since 2014.

Planning Your Visit
The Portrait Gallery stands at 1 Queen Street, within easy reach of central Edinburgh bus and tram routes. Admission is free and no booking is needed. The market runs for just two days, with different independent businesses taking part across the weekend.
