Northern Ballet presents Robin Hood at the King’s Theatre in a short family-focused retelling of the Sherwood Forest adventure. Robin and Maid Marian face the Sheriff of Nottingham through storytelling, ballet and live music.
The production is designed as an introduction to live dance for younger audiences, with recognisable characters and a clear narrative. It is an alternative to a full-length ballet and well suited to a family day out.
There are two performances on Sunday 21 March, at 2pm and 4pm. The 4pm show is a relaxed performance, with adjustments intended to make the visit more comfortable for audiences who benefit from a less formal setting.
