The show is Underworld’s Edinburgh Hogmanay debut and is billed as their only Scottish performance of 2026.

Hogmanay In The Gardens

This is the concert inside West Princes Street Gardens, not the main Street Party ticket. The Hogmanay Travel Office lists separate Gardens and Enclosure ticket areas, both set below Edinburgh Castle with views towards the midnight fireworks.

If you are comparing the different New Year options, our main Edinburgh’s Hogmanay listing covers the wider multi-day celebration. The Underworld show needs its own concert ticket.

Tickets & Entry

Tickets are available through the official Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Travel Office and Ticketmaster. Check the ticket type carefully so you know whether you have Gardens or Enclosure access.

Location

West Princes Street Gardens sits below Edinburgh Castle at the west end of Princes Street. Hogmanay uses controlled event zones around the city centre, so normal walking routes can change on 31 December.

Getting There

Public transport is usually the simplest option for Edinburgh’s Hogmanay. Waverley Station, city-centre trams, and Lothian Buses all serve the surrounding area, but road closures and altered services are common on New Year’s Eve.

Our Tips

  • Do not assume a Street Party ticket includes the Underworld concert. The events are separately ticketed.
  • Check the Hogmanay travel information again close to 31 December because road closures and late-night transport plans can change.
  • Dress for a long outdoor evening. West Princes Street Gardens can feel cold and exposed after dark, even when the crowd is busy.
